NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS ON APPLICATION FOR ADMINISTRATIVE APPEAL

Notice is hereby given that the Belmont Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 7:00 PM by a hybrid public hearing at the Art Gallery on the third floor of the Homer Building, 19 Moore Street, and by remote access through the Zoom app. to consider an appeal by petitioners, Traci Doherty, Katrin Duevel, Deborah Galli, Daniel W. Halston, Blanca Lain, David Otte, Jane Otte, Sharad Ramanathan, Huang Chi-Ting and Liliane R. Wong to invalidate a building permit issued by-right by the Inspector of Buildings on December 2, 2024, permit number BP-24-964, to construct a second story and a two story addition at 2 Myrtle Street (previously 278 Concord Ave.) located in a single Residence C (SRC) zoning district.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS FOR THREEE SPECIAL PERMITS

Notice is hereby given that the Belmont Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 7:00 PM by a hybrid public hearing at the Art Gallery on the third floor of the Homer Building, 19 Moore Street, and by remote access through the Zoom app. to consider the application of 68A McBride Street LLC, Nicholas Colavito, agent, to construct a dormer and a second story addition at 200 Claflin Street located in a Single Residence C (SRC) Zoning District. §4.2 of the By-Law allows a maximum lot coverage of 25%, requires a minimum front setback of 25.0’ and a minimum side setback of 10.0’. Special Permits: 1.-The existing and proposed lot coverage is 25.2%. 2.- The existing front setback is 15.8’ and proposed is 20.1’. 3.- The existing and proposed side setback is 9.8’.
