Janet Zanditon Rome, 84, died peacefully in her sleep at home in Woodland Hills, California on March 16, 2026.
Janet was born, raised and spent most of her life in the Boston area (Brookline and then Belmont), only living in California since September 2024. Janet was a loving wife, devoted mom, and nanny.
For most of her career she was a dedicated social worker, committed to bettering the lives of others in the Boston area.
Janet is survived by her husband, Stanton F. Rome, her two daughters, Jessica and Rachel Hunt, and their families. She is also survived by her two sisters, Rebekah and Barbara Zanditon.
Arrangements are under the care of Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary in Los Angeles.
