The Becca Pizzi 5k stepped off, with more than 400 runners making the 3.1 mile trek, which started at the high school.
Chris Kimball, of Manchester, New Hampshire, was the overall winner, finishing 16 minutes, 24 seconds.
Courtney Hawkins, of Watertown, won the womens race in 17 minutes, 50 seconds.
The top Belmont finisher was William Lyons, who ran the course in 19 minutes, 16 seconds.
All proceeds are used to provide scholarships to Belmont High School student athletes.
