Belmont Public Schools held its annual ceremony recognizing educators’ and staff’s years of service to the school system on May 6.
The ceremony recognized more than 60 members of the school community who have been working for Belmont schools for up to 30 years. The ceremony featured remarks from Superintendent Jill Geiser, Director of Human Capital Mike McAllister, and the supervisors of the educators honored for 25 or 30 years of service.
“They work in a lot of different places, in nursing offices or in offices, or in cafeterias, and they have worked for many lengths of time, between 10 to 30 years,” McAllister said. “But whatever role they play, they all contribute to the larger mission of Belmont Public Schools, which is educating children and preparing them for their future.”
The Clay Pit Crooners, the high school’s a capella group, also performed.
