Football – The Marauders dropped their third straight game on Friday, Oct. 23, losing 41-0 at Reading, who has won four straight. Despite being held scoreless in their last three games, Belmont has seen improvement from most players, including sophomore quarterback Ronan Kelleher and senior running back Patrick MacKinnon. First-year head coach Chad Foster is rebuilding the football program week by week, as the Marauders have only two games left in the regular season, taking on Winchester at home on Friday, Oct. 30.

Boys Cross Country – Belmont hosted its senior night on Tuesday, Oct. 20, against Lexington. The Marauders honored five graduating seniors: Austin Mann, Bruno Bitner, Elias Campisano, Sam Engler, and Seth Rabiner. Despite a close loss to a tough Lexington team, Junior Will Olmsted posted the second-fastest time ever by a Marauder on a three-mile course with 15:42. Golf – Belmont finished their successful league season with a 12-2 record and the sole claim to the title of Middlesex League Champions. It is their second year in a row winning the title — last year, they shared the honor with Winchester. Impressive performances at state sectionals by seniors Will Jackmin, Theo Sorblom, Peter Ausrotas, and Peter Smoragiewicz propelled the team to the state finals for the first time since 2021. They will compete for the state title on Oct. 26 at Wellesley Country Club.

Girls Swim and Dive – Belmont has been unstoppable, posting such impressive numbers in recent meets that scoring stopped before the finish. They raced top rival Lexington on Oct. 20 and Stoneham on Oct. 22, winning both times. The team finished undefeated in dual meets this season, earning the title of Middlesex League champions. The now 8-0 Marauders looked to win their league championship meet on Thursday, Oct. 29.
