Girls Lacrosse: Belmont Girls Lacrosse (10-5) put together two high-scoring performances this past week against Winchester and Burlington. On May 4, Belmont narrowly fell to Winchester 18–16 in an offensive battle. Niamh Lesnik delivered one of the top performances of the season, recording seven goals and an assist while reaching the 300 career point milestone. Nora Goulding and Ellie Siegert each finished with multi-goal, multi-assist performances, while Maddie Tisdale also contributed four total points in the loss. Belmont responded on May 6 with a dominant 17-5 win over Burlington. Sydney Mun scored four goals, Niamh Lesnik added six more, and Ellie Siegert posted a five-point performance with three goals and two assists. The Marauders also defeated Bedford 12-10 on May 9, during the annual Lacrosse Night game.
Boys Lacrosse: Belmont (7-6) picked up a strong 12-7 win over Burlington this past week, secured by a standout performance in net from senior Garen Sandler, who came up with several key saves. Belmont also got unexpected offensive production from defensive and transition players, including goals from faceoff specialist Nick Ianelli and Tomas Adrian. The Marauders continued their winning ways with a dominant 15-4 win over Bedford, on Lacrosse Night. The game featured several milestone moments for younger players, as junior varsity call-ups Sam Engler and Theo Hitchcliffe each recorded their first varsity goals. Senior captain Declan Doherty led the offense with a four-goal performance in the win.
Girls Track: On May 7, the girls (0-4) fell to Woburn, 47-80. The girls were led by a strong showing from senior captain Kira van Kelsted. Van Kelsted turned in a dominant performance, winning both the mile and two-mile, clocking 5:39 in the mile and 12:34 in the two-mile.
Boys Track : On the same date, the boys (0-4) also took on Woburn, falling 35-101. However, Belmont had some standout performances. Sophomore Fridolin Meichsner performed well in the 800 meters, taking first with a time of 2:11. Senior Henry Heldwein won the two-mile, with a time of 10:46.
Ultimate Frisbee : The Marauders edged Brookline 13-11 on May 7. Juniors Sam Goentzel and Albert Ying led the scoring, with two goals each.
Girls Rugby: Belmont (4-0) continued its undefeated season with a 22-7 win over Brookline on May 8. All tries were scored by juniors. Becca Christensen picked up two, and Claire Ferreira and Timikha Mukwazhi each scored once.
Boys Rugby: The boys rugby team (1-2) had a bye week.

Softball: Belmont Softball (4-9) fell to Reading Memorial 20-2 on May 7, in a difficult matchup against one of the stronger teams on their schedule. Janna Feinberg and Lily Friedman each recorded an RBI. Gina Mastrangelo also added one of Belmont’s two hits on the afternoon.
Baseball: The baseball team (8-7) also had a successful week, winning both of its games. On May 4, the Marauders edged out Wilmington 7-6. Junior Matt Pizzi pitched four of the nine innings. The Marauders followed that up with a convincing 7-3 win over Wakefield on May 8. Kyle Ksander pitched six solid innings before Charlie Tingos closed the door in the seventh, retiring all three batters he faced. Belmont also received strong contributions offensively and defensively in one of the team’s most complete performances of the season.
