Girls Swim and Dive : The Swim and Dive team had an outstanding week, winning the Middlesex League and placing fourth at sectionals. At both competitions, the team won the 200-meter freestyle relay, thanks to the performance of seniors Elizabeth Guevara and Lilly Glavin, as well as juniors Reina Yano and Karen Tao. Overall, the combined efforts of this group helped Belmont win the Middlesex League for the second consecutive year.

Girls Volleyball : The volleyball team fell to ninth-ranked Attleboro on Oct. 30 in the first round of the state tournament, bringing their season to an end. The team finished with an 11-10 record.

Football : Belmont lost 42-8 to Winchester on Oct.30. Senior quarterback Kyle Curtis threw a touchdown pass to senior Andre Chavusian to secure Belmont’s first touchdown in three games. The boys are scheduled to play Wayland on Nov. 7 and continue to prepare for their annual Thanksgiving matchup against Watertown.
