Request for Proposals Lease of Real Estate for Wireless Communications Tower Facility Belmont, Massachusetts
The Town of Belmont is seeking proposals for the lease of land located at 780 Concord Avenue, Belmont, Massachusetts for wireless telecommunication purposes for a 10 year term with two (2) 5-year extension options as may be permitted under current zoning regulations in the Town of Belmont including Zoning By-Law Section 6.8, ‘Wireless Telecommunications Facilities’, which governs the installation of wireless telecommunication facilities, and further subject to Conservation Restriction recorded with the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds at Book 45375, Page 275.
A site visit will be held at the property on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 10:00 am.
This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B, Chapter 16 and a resulting lease must be awarded in accordance with the requirements of the Request for Proposal Lease of Real Estate For Wireless Telecommunications Facility. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received, to negotiate with any qualified source, or to cancel, in part or in its entirety, this RFP as in the best interest of the Town, and to award contracts as may be in the best interest of the Town. This solicitation in no way obligates the Town to award a contract.
Copies of the Request for Proposal (RFP) may be obtained from the Belmont Town Administrator’s Office on and after December 11th, 2024 between the hours of Monday 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Tuesday to Thursday 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM and 12:00 noon, or by contacting the Town Administrator’s Office at (617) 993-2610.
Proposals are due on Friday, January 17, 2025 by 10:30 a.m. at the Town Administrator’s Office, 455 Concord Avenue, Belmont, Massachusetts, 02478. All responses must be received in a sealed envelope properly marked prior to the deadline per the submission requirements found in the RFP documents.
