We can all agree that Sen. Will Brownsberger is a sweet guy. Many have personal stories about his kindness and attention. I agree and stood in the rain with a sign supporting him for his Select Board run.
Writers say Daniel Lander, his challenger in Tuesday’s primary, needs more experience and needs to start at the bottom and climb the political ladder.
But not mentioned enough is that Lander graduated from the two-year master’s in public policy program at the Harvard Kennedy School. Not the resume-padding one-year program. If you utter “Econometrics” to an MPP graduate, they shudder.

I’ll take that degree as a reason to skip a few rungs on the ladder.
