Skip Viglirolo, I can think of only one worthy and deserving Belmontian (now deceased) Daniel P. Kelleher.
Forty years of coaching led to his induction in the Massachusetts Hockey Hall of Fame and a recipient of the William Thayer Tutt Award, USA’s highest volunteer award. His reputation was impeccable. Let’s get it done.
The Daniel P. Kelleher Rink at The James P. Viglirolo Sports complex sounds pretty good. I hope the powers that be do the right thing and honor these two giants in Belmont Athletics.
