Perhaps before next year’s leaf blower ban ‘season’ starting May 15, 2025, the town can create and publicize a PDF flier about the ban and make it available to residents to print and share.
The flier would objectively state the requirements and penalties of the ban, and it should be written with the intended audience of the commercial landscaping services, and should be in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
The flier would be designed to allow residents to present the flier either to their own landscapers or their neighbor’s landscapers as a non-threatening, objective way to inform about the ban.
I’d suggest the flier be ‘black and white’ friendly as not everyone has ready access to color printing. To my knowledge, the only resources the town has available today on the web site is the legalistic text of the ban and other administrative forms. A flier would allow residents to be friendly ambassadors of education on the ban, without putting people in a position of having confrontational discussions with offenders.
