AP Bio, Anatomy & Physiology, and other science classes
2. Most influential classes / teachers
Mr. Goldfine and Coach George
3. Extracurriculars that have been meaningful to you:
Training and racing with the BHS cross-country team and competing throughout New England with my cross-country ski team, Eastern Mass XC
4. What are you most proud of doing or being part of, either at BHS or in the community?
As captain of the BHS cross-country team, it’s been satisfying to see my teammates running fast at Rock Meadow and contributing to the team. I’m also proud of my volunteer work with Youth Enrichment Services for Boston’s Kids (YES Program), teaching kids to cross-country ski and leading on-snow games. Another highlight was singing the National Anthem at Fenway Park with the BHS Chorale sophomore year.
5. What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about snowy winters and protecting the environment from the effects of climate change. It’s difficult to be a XC skier in Massachusetts when there is no snow.
6. What words of wisdom would you like to leave for other BHS students?
You don’t have to be bold or outgoing to be a leader. Find a leadership style that works for you and make an impact on something you care about.
