NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE TOWN OF BELMONT PLANNING BOARD ON APPLICATION FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 7:00 PM by a hybrid public hearing at the Select Board Meeting Room on the first floor of the Town Hall, 455 Concord Ave., Belmont, MA, and by remote access through the Zoom app. to consider the application of Wonder for a Special Permit to erect a second sign at 489 Trapelo Road, located in a Local Business I (LBI) zoning district. §5.2.5 (4) b-1 allows the erection of more than one sign by a Special Permit granted by the Planning Board. FY26 Water Main Replacements Project

Town of Belmont, Massachusetts requests sealed bids for construction of FY2026 Water Main Replacements Project for the Town of Belmont, Massachusetts, will be received at the Department of Public Works Office, 19 Moore Street, Belmont, MA 02478 until 11:00am, on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The scope of work includes the construction of approximately 2,200 linear feet of new 8-inch and 10-inch ductile iron water main, transfer and installation of water services, installation of fire hydrants, abandonment of existing water main, and all other appurtenant work in Elm Street and Chandler Street. The scope also includes water main tie-in connections and water service transfers to accommodate the abandonment of the 6-inch cast iron water main in Lexington Street; the existing 10” water main will remain in service.
