James “Jimmy” Kneeland, of Belmont, passed away peacefully on Aug. 29, 2026 at the age of 79.
Beloved son of the late James and Elizabeth (Roberts) Kneeland, Jimmy is survived by his sister Ann Marckini and brother Kevin Kneeland (Jean). He is predeceased by his siblings Elizabeth Hall (Fred), Carol Mueller and Walter Kneeland. Uncle of Freddy, Michael, Jimmy, Cheryl, Johnny and Susan Hall, Leone, Deanna, Leon and Brandi Mueller, Lisa and Chris Marckini and Lori, Kristyn, Matt and Julie Kneeland. Brother-in-law of Leon Mueller.
Jimmy played in the Belmont High Football Program, Belmont Little League, Belmont Hill’s Parrot Youth Hockey Of America Program and for several years, in the Belmont Fast Pitch Softball League. He attended Belmont Public Schools.
A private burial will be held in Belmont Cemetery on Sept. 9. Arrangements are under the care of the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home in Belmont.
