As a long-time Belmont resident and community advocate, I am writing to express my strong support for state Rep. Dave Rogers in his reelection campaign for the 24th Middlesex District.
My support is rooted in Dave’s proven commitment to the health, inclusivity, and well-being of our community.
Dave has consistently delivered tangible results that strengthen the fabric of Belmont. His advocacy secured crucial state funding for transformative local projects, including the Belmont Community Path and the revitalization of Chenery Park. Furthermore, his leadership as Chair of the Joint Committee on Higher Education—spearheading the initiative to make community college tuition free—demonstrates a deep commitment to expanding opportunity for all families in our district.
Beyond infrastructure, Dave has been a steadfast partner in our efforts to build a more just and inclusive Belmont. He has collaborated closely with local organizations on critical issues, from authoring the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act to supporting landmark police reform and housing equity legislation. He has consistently shown up for our community, participating in local forums on immigrant rights, joining our annual Martin Luther King Jr. breakfasts, and offering words of healing during times of local crisis.
We need Dave’s continued experience and collaborative leadership at the State House to keep moving Belmont forward. I hope you will join me in voting for Dave Rogers this November.
