NOTICE OF PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT PLAN TERMINATION
The Bradford 495 Common Street, Belmont, MA RTN 3-23300
This location is a disposal site as defined by M.G.L. c. 21E, § 2 and the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP), 310 CMR 40.0000. The site has a Public Involvement Plan (PIP), which was originally prepared in August 2010. Over the last 15+ years, significant environmental investigation and remediation work has been completed at the site and it is now fully redeveloped as a commercial/residential property. In addition, the site has reached one of the three regulatory endpoints under the MCP as a Remedy Operation Status (ROS). Based on the current status of the site, a condition of “No Significant Risk” to occupants at the site, as defined in the MCP, has been achieved. Given the current status of the site, Belmont Residential Property Owner, LLC is proposing to terminate the PIP, in accordance with 310 CMR 40.1405(7). As required by the MCP, a 20 day comment period is applicable for this public notice, which shall expire on October 16, 2025.
