Belmont High field hockey tryouts start on Monday, August 21. Twelve players from last year’s roster graduated in May but Coach Jess Smith says she is always looking for promising underclassmen to step into new roles. “Last year’s underclassmen were outstanding and often played leadership roles on the field. I’m looking forward to seeing them in action a year older.”
The first game is Wednesday, September 6 at Stoneham, and the first home game is Friday, Sept. 8 against Melrose. See the full schedule for details about the rest of the season.
