The stars were out in Belmont Friday night for the Belmont Woman’s Club’s Dancing With The Belmont Stars fundraiser.

Between admission, the bar, and voting tickets for the Fan Favorite, the club raised more than $25,000 to support the ongoing renovation and upkeep of the historic William Flag Homer House on Pleasant Street.
Monica Phelan was the overall winner. Anne Marie Mahoney finished in a close second.
The Fan Favorite award went to Joanna Tzouvelis.
Overall, 10 local luminaries, including Select Board Chair Roy Epstein and Assistant School Superintendent Lucia Sullivan, competed. In the days leading up to the competition, dancers were paired with teachers from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Belmont.
This was the second Dancing with the Stars event, the first of which was held in 2019.
