Will Brownsberger is a true public servant, at a time when such selfless dedication to the public is more important than ever.
We have known Will since he first ran successfully for the Select Board in 1998. He was a promising young candidate then, and has since grown into one of the most dedicated and accomplished leaders in the state Legislature (serving in the House from 2007 to 2012 and in the Senate since then).
Will is up for reelection to the Senate and we urge you to vote for him on Sept. 1.
What is a true public servant?
- Someone who does extensive research on policy issues and reaches informed conclusions on what is best for the citizens of the Commonwealth.
- Someone who uses his seniority and political skills to build coalitions and gain legislative approval of complex and divisive issues.
- Someone of high character who works hard, listens to the public and shares his views with candor, whether you agree with him or not.
- Someone who shows through actions that government exists to serve the public and improve people’s lives.
- Someone who constantly reaches out to constituents to hear their views and provide updates on his activities.
Will Brownsberger is all of that, and more.
Will has been a leader in gaining passage by the Legislature of a long list of critical issues from civil liberties to the environment, and he has been a strong advocate for the priorities of his legislative district including Belmont.
Not only does Will deserve a strong vote of support, but one has to ask — why would we forgo all that Will has done, and will continue to do for our district and for the Commonwealth, and vote for someone with no State House experience and who has never been elected to any office?
I ask that you vote for Will Brownsberger, a true public servant.
