Foundation for Belmont Education Spelling Bee Winners Announced

The results are in, and the winners of the Foundation for Belmont Education Spelling Bee are the members of the team Vocab Vortex.

The three members of the team, Ryan Denning, Nayan Dilawari, and Rohin Sharma, won by spelling the word “stagnant” correctly.

Second place was Team Ham, consisting of Alice Meng, Hannah Kim, Mia Tucker, all fifth-graders.

Third place went to Team Eclipse, made up of sixth-graders Vivian Shi, Eleanor Klassen, Sophia Li, Claire Gu.

The second and third place word was “interrogate.”
