Regarding the article on the disagreements on the use of the Beech Street Center (“With Citizen Petition Filed, COA Divided on Beech Street Center Changes” May 16, Page 3). Why are we wasting time arguing over $30,000 in costs for the Recreation Department to move into and make changes to the Beech Street Center? The town just approved paying $1.9 million a year for a new ice rink, surely that’s a more useful place for the Recreation Department to be located?
