I’m writing to give my wholehearted support to Sen. Will Brownsberger’s re-election. As a Belmont resident, committee member, and business operator, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Will over the years, most recently on a bill that he filed and ultimately got passed to support the industry I work in. Will is a workhorse of an advocate for fair housing, immigrants, justice system reform, small businesses, education, and thoughtful zoning – all of which directly impact Belmont.
Will has repeatedly and consistently advocated for the needs of Belmont at the State House, securing critical funding for our town year after year. Will has a track record of success, and aside from being truly communicative and available to his constituents, he is a kind, compassionate, and thoughtful human being – the exact person we need representing Belmont and someone I am proud to support.
I am all for change and fresh perspectives in government when an incumbent is complacent or not attentive to our needs. Will is anything but complacent. Belmont needs an advocate in the State House, and Will has proven that he’s that advocate time and again. He works tirelessly for his constituents, and a quick scroll through Mass.gov shows a record that speaks for itself – and it’s not just sponsoring bills; it’s getting those bills passed.
It has been my honor and privilege to work with him as a Belmont government volunteer, a small business operator, and as a citizen of Belmont. When I think of how grateful I am for my “Massachusetts Bubble” in the current political climate, Will is the first legislator that comes to mind. Please join me in re-electing Will so he can continue to work on Belmont’s behalf.
