Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 7:00 PM by a hybrid public hearing at the Select Board Meeting Room on the first floor of the Town Hall, 455 Concord Ave., Belmont, MA, and by remote access through the Zoom app. to consider the application of Wonder for a Special Permit to erect a second sign at 489 Trapelo Road, located in a Local Business I (LBI) zoning district. §5.2.5 (4) b-1 allows the erection of more than one sign by a Special Permit granted by the Planning Board. The Town of Belmont Department of Public Works is requesting sealed bids for Traffic Signal Maintenance & Services at various locations in the Town of Belmont. Bid Documents will be available on May 8, 2026, at 12:00 PM, and may be obtained by sending email request for 2026 Traffic Signal Maintenance & Services Bid to dpwbids@belmont-ma.gov. (allow 2 full business days for receipt) MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work – TRAFFIC SIGNALS, for project with an estimated value of $90,000.00 will be required. The bid will close at 10:00AM on Wednesday, May 27, 2026

Butler Façade Restoration Project
The Town of Belmont, Massachusetts, the Awarding Authority, invites the submission of sealed bids for the Butler School Façade Restoration in accordance with the Bid Set documents prepared by Duffy Engineering. The project consists of but not limited to: Exterior masonry repairs consisting of mortar repointing, localized brick replacement, stone patching, crack repairs, and sealant replacement for a building constructed in 1900 with multiple 20th century additions. The estimated project value is: $330,000. Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with M.G. L. c. 149, §44A-44J, as most recently amended, and all other applicable laws. No less than the minimum wage rates as set forth in the schedule contained in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project. Plans and specifications shall be available online at www.projectdog.com using Project Code 874331 after 9:00 AM EDT, May 6, 2026. Documents are made available to all bidders in electronic form at no cost. Bidders desiring hard copies shall be solely responsible for all costs related to printing and shipping of hard copy documents. Neither Owner nor Engineer shall be responsible for full or partial sets of the Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than Projectdog, Inc. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the work category of Masonry, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and Signed DCAMM Prime Update Statement. THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID AND HARD COPY BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
