TOWN OF BELMONT PLANNING BOARD APPLICATION FOR DESIGN AND SITE PLAN REVIEW & TWO SPECIAL PERMITS
Notice is hereby given that the Belmont Planning Board will hold a hybrid Public Hearing on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 7:00 pm in the Select Board Meeting Room, 445 Concord Ave, Belmont, MA and by remote access via Zoom to consider the application from the Belmont Housing Authority for Design and Site Plan Review and two Special Permits at 131-135 Sycamore Street (Sherman Gardens). The application proposes to demolish the existing site and construct a 120-unit multi- family building, two smaller residential buildings totaling 20 units, and associated site improvements. The two Special Permits are for requested relief related Zoning By-Law §9.6.C Development and Design Standards. The site is located in the General Residence zoning district and the 3A Overlay District MOZ3A Sub-district.

NOTICE OF HYBRID PUBLIC HEARING ON APPLICATION FOR A NEW LIQUOR LICENSE (OFF PREMISES – WINE & MALT BEVERAGES ONLY)
The Belmont Select Board, as Local Licensing Authority, will hold a public hearing on the application from Saabelmont Corporation, dba Belmont Wine & Beer, 32 Leonard Street, Belmont, MA for a new §15 off-premises (beer and wine) liquor license. This public hearing will be held in a hybrid meeting format at the Belmont Town Hall, 455 Concord Ave., Belmont, MA and may be attended in person or virtually on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 7:15 PM. All interested parties are invited to be heard. However, if any school, church or hospital located within five hundred feet of the premises wishes to object to the issuance of this license, said objection must be in writing.
