I am writing with great enthusiasm to support Will Brownsberger in his reelection campaign for Massachusetts Senate. Will has been good for Belmont and good for Massachusetts during his decades of service to us.
I applaud Daniel Lander for running for office, and he would gain valuable experience by first running for local office as Brownsberger did in Belmont and our past governor Charlie Baker did in Swampscott.
In Will Brownsberger’s three terms as a Belmont Select Board member, five years in the House of Representatives and 10 years in the Senate, he has demonstrated through his work on criminal justice reform, improving transportation and so many other issues, that he is good for Belmont and good for Massachusetts.
Most importantly, Will is someone who is energized by listening to all of his constituents, thoughtfully researching issues and then being totally transparent about where he stands on an issue and why he takes that stand.
I urge you to vote for Will Brownsberger on Sept. 1.
