Town of Belmont Legal Advertisement Belmont Conservation Commission Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act
In accordance with the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 131, Section 40 (the Wetlands Protection Act), you are hereby notified that Keolis Commuter Services has filed a Request for Determination of Applicability (Application) seeking permission to remove, fill, dredge, or otherwise alter an area subject to protection under the Wetlands Protection Act.
The work proposed in this filing consists of vegetation management along the Keolis Rail Right of Way, within the municipality of Belmont. Some of the areas included in this proposal includes lands within a vegetated wetland as well as within one hundred feet of a wetland resource area.
Copies of the application may be examined at the Conservation Commission, Homer Building, Town of Belmont, 19 Moore Street, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information call the Conservation Administrator at 617-993-2667.
The public hearing for this project will be held June 10, 2025 at 7:00 pm in Room 1 at the Belmont Town Hall. The meeting will also be available via Zoom
