Conservation Commission Notice of Intent
In accordance with the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 131, Section 40 (the Wetlands Protection Act), you are hereby notified that the Town of Belmont has received a Notice of Intent (Application) seeking permission to remove, fill, dredge, or otherwise alter an area subject to protection under the Wetlands Protection Act and Bylaw. The Applicant, The Sarkissian Family Trust, seeks demolition of an existing single-family house, removal of one tree and construction of a single-family house at 60 Stony Brook Road. Proposed work is within the buffer zone to wetlands. A hybrid public hearing will be held on June 16, 2026, at 7:00 – 9:00 PM in the Select Board Conference Room at the Belmont Town Hall. The Application may be examined at www.belmont-ma.gov > Conservation Commission > Filings Under the Wetland Protections Act or at the Homer Building, 19 Moore Street, 2nd Fl during Town of Belmont posted office hours.
