Letter: Why Climate Change is Bad

Did you know that climate change is bad?  Melting ice caps are a very big problem. Way back in time, even before the dinosaurs, the sea was 42 Football players higher and there were no ice caps. If climate change doesn’t get stopped we will have our 42 football player deep ocean back. Some of the low-lying communities will be underwater, like New York, Montreal, Shanghai, and Tokyo. All these cities will be underwater. Also, a lot of the animals living on the ice caps won’t have any homes and will go extinct.

One of the things that make climate change is fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are bad because they create a lot of problems for the environment, like carbon dioxide and air pollution, which, if goes on long enough, can cause an environment where it is harder to breathe. Carbon dioxide creates some kind of blanket around the earth that traps heat which is climate change.

Climate change can also cause it to be way too hot, which can create harmful environments in already very warm places. It can make droughts and if there are droughts, farmers can’t water their plants, and that will create food shortages . This is why climate change is very bad and we have to do something to stop it or else it can be dangerous for human life on earth!
