Being a Black Belt in Taekwondo

4. What are you most proud of doing or being part of, either at BHS or in the community?

I’m very proud of being Quartermaster for the Marching Band, mentoring others on saxophone for Tri-M, and teaching kids Taekwondo

5. What are you passionate about?

I’m very passionate about music and helping out others in any way that I can!

6. What words of wisdom would you like to leave for other BHS students?

Be kind to others and yourself!

Rugby, Swim Team

4. What are you most proud of doing or being part of, either at BHS or in the community?

I loved being a counselor at my camp and winning states in rugby! Both taught me a lot about working hard but still having fun.

5. What are you passionate about?

I’m a big football fan, and I love movies. I’m also really interested in medicine and health.

6. What words of wisdom would you like to leave for other BHS students?

It’s not that deep, the problem you had today you probably won’t remember in a week so let it go and move on, just try not to make the same mistake next time.

Reiya Tuladhar

3. Extracurriculars that have been meaningful to you:

Leading my clubs: AAC and Nepali Society, and being a third-year Youth Volunteer for Nepali Class Boston, a weekly language school, because they have given me opportunities to leave an impact.

4. What are you most proud of doing or being part of, either at BHS or in the community?

I’m most proud of all the positions I mentioned above because they have taught me so much about the responsibilities that come with leadership roles as well as the importance of appreciating and giving back to my communities.

5. What are you passionate about?

I’m passionate about encouraging everyone to express themselves.

6. What words of wisdom would you like to leave for other BHS students?

You can’t pour from an empty cup – you can’t keep giving and giving without caring about yourself too.
