I am most proud of being part of the football program at BHS

Ingrid Hellsvik

1. Favorite school subject:

My favorite school subjects are math and science

2. Most influential classes / teachers

My most influential classes have been AP econ and AP bio, because they both taught me which study methods work best for me, and inspired me for what I want to study in college. My most influential teachers have been Ms. White, Ms. Pleat and Ms. Green.

3. Extracurriculars that have been meaningful to you:

I think the extracurricular that has been most meaningful to me has been attending the PALS club since freshman year and being one of the club leaders this year and last. It has been such a fun and rewarding club to be a part of.

4. What are you most proud of doing or being part of, either at BHS or in the community?

I am really proud of being on the girls tennis team. It has been such a warm community to be a part of and I have connected with people who I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to meet otherwise. I am super excited for the upcoming spring season!

5. What are you passionate about?

I’m really passionate about trying new things, whether that be new foods, taking new classes or meeting new people.

6. What words of wisdom would you like to leave for other BHS students?

Be kind to everyone, and try to make friends with everyone in your classes!

Ms White (APUSH) , Ms Lewis(AP Biology), Ms Carlivati(Pre-Calc)

3. Extracurriculars that have been meaningful to you:

President of the Armenian club, volunteering at the ESL summer camp, Model UN club, working as a tutor

4. What are you most proud of doing or being part of, either at BHS or in the community?

Working with everybody in the Armenian club, NAASR, and the BHS faculty to include more Armenian history in the high school curriculum, in both English and History classes. Working and volunteering as a tutor, helping kids succeed in different subjects.

5. What are you passionate about?

Cooking, playing the piano, helping people

6. What words of wisdom would you like to leave for other BHS students?

High school flies by, so enjoy the little things, never be afraid to try new things or meet new people, and just try your best πŸ™‚
