A 16-year-old girl is recovering after being hit by a car on Concord Avenue on Monday afternoon.
According to a Belmont Police press release, the collision occurred at the intersection of Concord Avenue and Winter Street. The Belmont Fire Department brought the teenager to Children’s Hospital in Boston for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the driver involved stayed on scene and cooperated with police in their investigation.
The incident remains under investigation.
